Review: The Bear King's Captive

The Bear King's Captive The Bear King's Captive by Milly Taiden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Leah was a loner, always on the run with her only friend which is her computer. She is running from her past, running from opening up to people for fear of losing them. She has hardend her heart so that she does not get hurt. She's seen her family killed and has felt hunted all her life. After never being part of a loving family and living in an orphanage all her life. Hannes is a merc and kidnapping was not his way of doing things and not what he signed up for. He inadvertently kidnapped his mate and a boy. Now he isn't sure what to do with either. Hannes has also had an animal forced in his blood, and now him and his beast are always fighting for dominance and secrecy from others. But a run in with Leah at the docks has his beast determined to keep her and mate her. Leah running for her life and Hannes doing an about face on protecting her because he does not want to hand her over for the $10 Million dollars that is on her head. Leah and Hannes are pulled to each other, they want each other, but they are stubborn and set in their ways they think they do not deserve each other. Will they let themselves be together and face the danger she is in or will they stick to there ways?

Mrs Taiden has done such a great job on this new series there is a lot of adventure, hot chemistry, and it has you pulled into the story and makes you want to be there to see how the story on folds.I look forward to reading much more of this series and see how the story’s end.
